Operational (Ops) Support Representative

Description:

Operations Specialist is responsible for processing shipments and all related activities for an assigned base of accounts. The individual will have contact with clients, carriers and potential clients daily. He/she must be proactive in providing quality client service and have the ability to handle pressure and responsibility in a fast pace environment, in a timely and affective manner. The successful candidate must have good client service skill and handle dual task. Being proactive in providing quality client service is a must. 

Responsibilities:

Manage loads and shipments

Schedule required appointments

Track and trace all loads

Ensure on-time pickup and delivery

Build relationships with carriers

Maintain updated and current records of accounts through TMS

Collaborate with your team to solve problems

Grow professionally and develop a thorough understanding of the logistics industry

Duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time

Qualifications and skills:

MS Office, Windows, and basic business software knowledge

Desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Open and honest professional communication abilities
